  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Ok, he is Laker scum and he has injury/attitude problems, but...
*Kid is 24 years old.
*Is probably the most skilled center behind Dwight Howard and is only 24! Nene and Marc Gasol would be considered better but because of their health. If Bynum was healthy he is better than both in my opinion.
*Yes, he does extensive injury history BUT got through last season (after returning from major knee surgery) without any significant problems.(missed one game with hyper extended knee)

"Bynum came off the bench in his first game of the season on December 14 in a 103–89 win over the Wizards. He finished with 17 minutes, 1-of-5 from the field, seven points, four rebounds and two blocks. "I feel light-years better than back [in Game 7 of 2010 NBA Finals] "

He has been held back because of his second fiddle status to Pau Gasol, this is partly because of his injury, and partly because Phil has run the offense through Pau and Kobe for all of Bynum's career.

*Last year averaged 11 points and 12 rebounds a game.
At starting center, with a point guard like Rajon Rondo, this guy would be an absolute monster. I'm talking Dwight Howard points and rebounds and block numbers.

He hasn't had an injury since 2010.
If he was injury free for the next 2 years, and we miss out on Dwight(most likely).

Should Danny go after him?

Wait and see where his health is. I am a fan though. Very good player.

If he stays healthy, he'll sign an extension well before hitting free-agency.

I dunno, I mean he seems to have a chip on his shoulder about always being third fiddle in LA. He was very keen to be traded to Orlando and whenever he talks about it, he seems to use the 'If I'm still here we'll do this and that' etc...

Lets just hope the Lakers don't ship Pau out.

Also, the Lakers shipping Pau out means they are pretty confident in Bynum's knee being solid.
If they don't get Dwight they'd be relying solely on him.
Maybe they have decided it's his time (if it isn't Dwight Howard's).
