Would you guys go for this trade?

Boston gets:

Andrew bynum
Steve Blake

LA Lakers gets:

Rajon Rondo
Jermaine O'neal
LA Clippers Pick

Then we can probably get Billups to join the team. What do you think?

Not in my lifetime or my next two lifetimes. Wouldn't trade rondo for bynum straight up never mind about kicking in a draft pick. This is akin to a trade idea in red sox chat room where the guy wanted to trade ells bury for ryan vogelsong.

I doubt the Lakers would be interested.

They only seem willing to give up A.Bynum if receiving a superstar in return.

I feel elite point guards are more valuable than big men. From the Celtics' standpoint, no, I wouldn't make this trade.

Also a point guard is not going to fair well in a Laker uniform as long as Kobe is around.. actually the only kind of PG that would work would be a Rondo..but still woulnt even glimpse at the oft injured head case that is Andru Bynum.

I wouldn't trade LA a box of rocks... yes, in other words, not even Bradley! I'd rather eat one of the most poisonous animals, alive, than help LA!!!!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Do you mean elite big men? No way.

Elite bigs win championships, teams led by elite PG's historically do not.

If you mean elite PG's vs bigs with a pulse, then I agree.

O, and I don't consider Bynum an elite big.

But this trade would never happen as besides not helping either team (lateral move at best), these teams should never do business with one another.

Since I hate LA almost as much as I love the C's, I'd consider this trade only because it would surely make LA worse.  LA would no longer be a team feared for height. And they would have a point guard that you could lay of all day to double Kobe.

But quality point guards are easier to come by than big men.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
I'd rather not have a big at all than to have Bynum. That thug is overrated. Id rather keep the team we have with JO at center, than to have that dirty bum defacing the good name of the Celtics.
