I was just thinking that. Plus his mid-range game has gotten a lot of praise as well. Solid pick up
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I think he's going prove to be a major upgrade over Baby. IMO, Van Gundy just didn't know how to play another legit big next to Howard. He's to in love with his long range shooters and the 3 to effectively utilize Bass. I think the only thing we'll miss from BBD's game is the ability to draw offensives.

Too much coffee and Gatorade. It's a hell of a mix. If you're ever tired in the morning, just try that mix, and tell me what you think. -Kevin Garnett

Is there anyone doubt that Bass will be an upgrade over Baby?

I love that trade.

This kid is really strong. Some of these dunks he converts are actually through defenders outstretched arms.

I just hope he can help us win ball games, not help us make better looking mix tapes on youtube.

I think Bass is an upgrade over BBD, though not a major one.  Baby did have strengths....quick feet for a guy his size, good mid-range shot (though he over-played that hand too often), reasonably good interior D.  But Bass will be better inside, and won't have his inside shot blocked with annoying regularity like BBD does.  I am happy for this trade...
