Nene mostly because we are still missing an effective center

Nene -- plays above average defense and has real size.

He is not worth twice the price of David West though.

If the choice is West at 3 years, $27 million, or Nene at 4 years, $80 million, I'm taking West.  Nene is a better player, but he's not worth 35% of a team's cap.

Ditto. The cost has to be part of the calculation.
Celtics fan for life.

I would choose Nene.  But in the real world there is a thing called the salary cap so I would go with West given our situation.

Ya I agree as well, Nene, a couple inches taller and a few years younger.

Nene hands down, but we don't have the money to sign him.

West is good but I think we need a Center more than anything

Any "Birdman" Chris Andersen sightings? Ive always been a bird watcher. Id like to see him here in green if we can get him for the vet minimum and he's over the injuries that plagued him last year.

Im trying to gauge the talents of David West.

If West is healthy, I take him. Danny is trying to build a roster that will defeat and match up best with the defending ECC, the Heat. Getting West and Bass makes our front line deep and athletic. Both of those guys can match up with Bosh.
