Nets have emerged as No. 1 choice for Dwight Howard, multiple sources say. D12 is expected to ask Magic to trade him to NJ.

Nets still pursuing Nene in case deal for Howard falls through. NJ offering Brook Lopez & 2 1st rnd picks, as @ESPNSteinLine wrote last wk

After this Chris Paul business, I would relieved just to see Dwight go somewhere that isn't LA, and without any controversy.

Yep , me too ...becasue that is all NJ would ever have.

Lakers...is about robbing from the poor and giving to themelves.

So I guess when D12 saw the Cp3 deal fail at LA ,  He decided the NBA was going to let him team up with Paul ...  so just as most of us predicted that was LA's plane all along.

Good for Dwight. Made a decision. He should make this happen and be done with it.

Not have it hanging over his or Orlando's head for the next couple of months.

Great !!!! now that NJ can get D12  8)....not the turds in LA.....ok now I can live CP3 going to LA ....long as they can't have both.   Dwight was just waiting to jump on any deal that would land him in LA....Yep that would have really set off a small-big market war.

If this is the case, then we no longer have any stake in the Chris Paul sweepstakes.

I wouldn't trade Dwight if I were Orlando. Call his bluff, dare him to leave via free-agency next Summer.

This what I was thinking in my last post....he was waiting in the shadows all along , waiting for LA to get CP3 and then he was set to bolt.  I "WONDER" did Stern find out about all the details and under the table dealings with LA's plan to bring D12 an CP3 in at the same time and this was part of the veto move ?

I convinced CP3 and DH12 and LA (Mitch and West) have been planning this deal for a LONG TIME ....using the weak front end disrupted NO mgmt to get their deal done.

if this happens, im really looking forward to watching Deron Williams and Dwight Howard eat the Knicks alive in MSG with all of the 10-15 New Jersey fans in attendance living it up.

Lakers took Shaq from Orlando..........so for them to send Howard somewhere else is a bit of payback....a no not this time LA , anybody but you...!!

SO I guess the Laker crowd will be crying over not getting D12..... :'(    boo hoo

Mike brown won't last two seasons , they will have his head ...how dare he not win the championship every year.
