1.) Stay away from cold. No ice, no bare feet anything!!!

Unless you want your muscles or the cramps to stay in a forever contracted state...you will avoid cold at all costs. (The only times you want to use cold is if pain is too unbearable that you want to numb it away, or there is gross swelling.)

2.) Stay WARM and drink a lot of fluids - I recommend drinking hot water, herbal tea etc. Small sips, don't pound a whole glass down or else you will be urinating fast. We don't want that, we want the fluids in your system longer.

3.) Here's a .PDF article offering other suggestions. http://www.mcmia.org/download/SCMP/2009/SCMP2009.01.05.pdf

Before you ingest any herbal remedies, consult with an herbalist first.

Thanks guys. I'm going to definitely drink more *during* games. During a regular day I drink about 5 to 7 liters of water, depending on the weather, but I somehow slip on the weekends (when I have games).

Also, I'll stretch after basketball from now on, and make sure I don't get too cold. If I run into any Tums or pickle juice and the likes, I'll definitely buy some haha :)

Cheers, everyone! (time for some TP rainage)
