I believe JA Adande wrote earlier today that you can't trade for a player and then use amnesty to release him.

Maybe NJ is willing to take on the salary.  Could be just rumor.  Could be interest from only NJ and not Orlando.

ANJ definitely pushing for it though.

what i read is that NJ would take on Turkoglu's salary and make space by using the amnesty clause on Travis Outlaw.

I wonder if Dwight woulf be interested in going to NJ with Turkeyglu.  He's kinda washed up and way overpaid.  That would hinder NJ from getting anyone else.

This is more of a hint that the DH thing, one way or another, could be done soon.  No wonder Danny's trying to get CP lined up in a hurry as well.
