(Twitter) WojYahoo NBA Adrian Wojnarowski:

"The NBA and players have reached an agreement on a deal, source says. The season will start on Dec. 25."

Can we celebrate? I'll wait until it's signed, but this is a good omen. :D

“It will largely prevent the high spending teams from competing in the free agent market the way they have in the past. The luxury tax is harsher than it was in the last deal, and we hope it’s effective and will give fans in each community hope that they will compete for a championship,” deputy commissioner Adam Silver said.

“We’re confident once we present it, they will support it,” union director Billy Hunter said.

Bucher just now stating it will be a 66-game season starting on Christmas Day, and that the terms are not much different than what the last proposal was. Both sides need to agree, these statements coming from the negotiators only, but it believed both sides will do so.

I'm 23 years old, but I just ran to my lounge room and jumped up and down with the BIGGEST smile and slightly high pitched voice screamed 'THERE'S GOING TO BE BASKETBALL' to my housemates haha!

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I wonder what they will dare to charge?

To be completely honest, I don't care right now. I shouldn't say that, they shouldn't ever hear about that, but seriously, I just want some basketball.
