If you can't see it:

Chicago gets: Andray Blatche, Andre Iguodala

Philadelphia gets: Boozer- a go-to guy

Washington gets: Evan Turner, John Lucas(from Chicago to make salaries work)

Chicago would finally have a 2-guard, while Iguodala is big for a 2 guard, he's quick and a good defender. And would have a PF rotation of Taj, Blatche, Kurt Thomas if he returns.

Philly would get their go-to scorer and have their PF position locked up long term

Wizards gets rid of Blatche to make room for Vesely, Evan Turner could play SF or SG for them, they're not too strong on the wings

The only deal breaker could be that Philly wouldn't want to give up Evan Turner so quickly.

Chicago should hold onto Boozer and see how he does when he isn't injured.

What were they, 24-5 (W-L) in the regular season with J.Noah and C.Boozer healthy? No way should they be considering breaking up that pairing at this point in time. They definitely deserve another shot together.

Terrible - not one shooter in the starting lineup, and one less scorer overall.

Chicago lost to Miami because Miami was able to double and tripple team Rose, without anyone making them pay.
"All I have to know is, he's my coach, and I follow his lead. He didn't have to say anything in here this week. We all knew what we had to do. He's a big part of our family, and we're like his extended family. And we did what good families do when one of their own is affected." - Teddy Bruschi

There is really only one blueprint for building a winner around Rose, and it was pulled off twice: 2000-2001 Sixers and the Bab Boys Pistons.

Joe Dumars - Eric Snow

Unselfish, bulldog off-guards that could shoot and run the show.

Vinnie Johnson - Aaron McKie

Scoorers without remorse, guys that could come in, drop 15, and swing a game.

Bill Laimbeer - Toni Kukoc

Bigs with deep range (Kukoc was strictly a 4 by this time in his career. very different players, but same key function).

Mahorn, Sally, Rodman - Ratliff, Hill, Geiger

Physical bigs that would protect the rim and were not affraid to mix it up.

Lets get one thing straight, the Philly team was not even close to the same level. NOT EVEN CLOSE. But the construction, the approach, was exactly the same.
"All I have to know is, he's my coach, and I follow his lead. He didn't have to say anything in here this week. We all knew what we had to do. He's a big part of our family, and we're like his extended family. And we did what good families do when one of their own is affected." - Teddy Bruschi

I see Deng and Iggy as someone duplicative, as well.  Chicago really needs someone *like* Ray Allen, a sniper at the 2 guard that the defense can't leave alone (hell, put Ray Allen on that team, and I think they win it all).  I don't see Iggy as that player, he's not the worst shooter in the world but he's not someone you're paranoid about behind the 3-point line.

I wouldn't be surprised if Boozer ends up on the block at some point, though.  As good as they were with him in the lineup, they were pretty good without him as well.  Depends on whether they think Taj Gibson is good enough to step into an even bigger role.

Yeah as up and down as Boozer was in the playoffs they shouldn't try and dump him now.

Better to try and improve the SG position and give the team another year.
