I think he needs two nicknames.
Dr. Jeff and Mr. Green
Dr. Jeff is the timid, hanging-out-in-the-corner JG we see 70% of the time
Mr. Green is the JG we saw last night
Dr Jeffyl and Mr Gryde Same idea, not as catchy. |

Why do players with the last name Green somehow find their way to the Celtics?
First Gerald Green, now Jeff...I'm guessing Draymond Green is probably going to find his way to the Celtics sooner or later.
He was the only reason I was an MSU fan these past few years. Was really hoping we would take him. He's NBA ready. |

So I figured out a way for Jeff to get more minutes...lol
K.G. early subs should be Jeff Green, & Bass will then slide over to the Center position. Resulting in Jeff playing a lot more minutes & being even more comfortable.

this. When you try to make nicknames happen, you end up tied to bull like The Black Falcon. So in lieu of starting up Jeff "The Yellow Dart" Green, let us call him by his nickname. He is uncle jeff. |

The thing with nicknames is that it's not always the most attractive name or the most creative, but the name that comes to your mind the quickest, for whatever reason ... that's Greeny for me. When other fans and I are talking, that's the name we all use ... it's not glamorous, but it's always on the tip of the tongue, (long version, Greeny The Genie?).
