According to Ric Bucher.  Makes no difference if Kanter is still on the board at #4.

I am confused, where are they picking Singler?

Also, I'll believe this stuff when I see it.  There are a lot of smokescreens out right now.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I bet he mean Irving.

And thus, Minnesota's rumor of taking Kanter is done. Now they can stop pretending they're going to take CLE's guy and just take Williams like they were supposed to.

Methinks you meant Kyrie Irving.

Cleveland is stupid.

Seriously.

Trade the #4 for Tony Parker

Good, because then you'll have a ticked off Baron Davis that you can't trade along side Tony Parker.

Baron Davis won't be happy no matter what, and they will be looking to find a way to cut him loose without a trade anyways, since no one is trading for him.

I think Cleveland would do well to pick Williams first and then trade #4 for Parker.

I don't like moving the pick for Parker because the Cavs need to properly rebuild.

Unless they think they can repackage parker for some other move.

I think they'd do well to trade both picks if they can.  Maybe Iggy for #1 and Parker for #4.  Perhaps you agree to take on R. Jefferson if they take B. Diddy back.  Other pieces going back and forth to make the salaries work.

Cavs would be a solid playoff team next year if they could swing some of those moves (not a contender, but going in the right direction for sure).

Valanciunas is being very underrated by American fans. I think he's a great pick with the 4th. I'd consider picking him with the #2, to be honest.

I'd like to know more about his defensive ability. That is what is making me a little uncertain about him.

Is he a better version of Biedrins? Or a Dalembert type? Or a Joakim Noah?

--------------------------------------

His rebounding numbers, toughness and motor all sound very impressive.
