6'1"  21 ppg  I don't see the need but who knows.

Andy also said others teams like him as well.

interesting rumor.  Cole certainly doesn't fit the "need" category, but I'd be okay with that pick based on the little I've read about him.

Interesting.  I have never heard of him, but he seems like the kind of guy Danny would target.  Sounds a lot like Eric Maynor or George Hill.

Teams always try to create smokescreens, especially right before the draft and the Celtics are no different. Danny doesn't want other teams knowing his guys in case another team likes the same player and tries to jump him.

Doesn't sound like much.

I am thinking a mid to late second round pick. A long shot like Lester Hudson two years ago. Less size, more PG skills.

Not that it means anything, but Chad Ford has him ranked as the 23rd best prospect this year.

Sounds like a guy who could be a surprise in the first round.  There have been a lot of late first round PGs from smaller schools have success lately.

He'll be better than Avery Bradley...but is that REALLY where we need to upgrade?

I'm pretty sure Katz has good C's sources.

This has to be one of the craziest pg boxscores in NCAA history.

So, he's the third shortest player projected by either draftexpress or nbadraft.net to be drafted, and he's the lightest.

I don't know anything about him, but he put up good-but-not-great numbers in a mediocre conference.  That's not the type of guy I'd spend a first rounder on.

Cleveland state has been pretty good though, I think they have given some good teams some scares recently, but ya, I would like him with our second rounder, not first

Danny Ainge needs to stop hunting for the next Danny Ainge.

hahaha! Yes, that's what I thought when I first read this.
I'd be fine with him as the pick at #25.  I really am not in love with anyone in this draft, and can make a decent argument for pretty much anyone who might be available when the Cs are picking....
(and of course I think he'd be a fantastic pick with the 2nd rounder).

Cole is definitely a talent. He was killing Jeff Teague 2 years ago when Cleveland State upset Wake Forest in the first round. He has only gotten better and more consistent since then.

Im only into this if Danny moved Bradley for a higher pick and takes a big man. If we just take him for the sake of taking him then I dont like it.

Never heard of him, but as the draft rapidly approaches I'll have to just go with the mantra "in Danny I trust."
