In a way I am happy that a Boston team is succeeding.

But at the same time, I wish it was the Celtics that were grabbing the headlines right now instead of the Bruins.

Kinda depressing. :-[

It just bothers me that Celtics aren't allowed to play as physical as the Bruins are

I think it is awesome that the Bruins have reached the finals and the town is rallying around them. I also think it is awesome that the NHL is still a TEAM game. The Bruins don't have one superstar (some might say Chara, but I beg to differ) and they are in the NHL finals. And honestly, in the next few years, the Bruins are going to have better odds getting to the finals than our beloved Celtics. While not a huge NHL fan, I clearly am enjoying this.

Couldn't agree with you more Vinnie about the NHL still being a team game and that is what I love most about it.  The NBA is only about the players not the teams and no great proof is needed than how one players pending free agent decision can over shadow an NBA Finals between the leagues biggest rivals.

I hate you David Stern for ruining what the game is all about and MJ too for being how this all got started.

No. 3 of the 4 major, New England based sports teams have won titles in the 2000's.  I'm glad the Bruins are having a chance to shine now, and have the opportunity to win a title for the first time since 1972.  It would be a great thing for the region.  Think about it... If the Bruins win the Cup, New England will have won at least 1 championship in all of the major sports in the last 9 years, beginning with the Patriots in 2002.  That's a pretty good feat.

At least you guys have one team going forward. Boston seems to be a city in which most if not all sports there win a championship. You guys should be happy and lucky to have at least one team going forward to win and have more than one team being recognized.

If I could see the Celtics win Banner #18 next year only at the cost of the Bruins not winning a championship for another 30-40 years or whatever, I'd gladly do it.

Really don't care that much about hockey.

Ouch, pretty harsh considering the Bruins haven't won in over 40 years. I'm not much of a hockey fan either, but Bruins fans really deserve a cup...probably the most loyal fanbase in Boston imo.
