In a way I am happy that a Boston team is succeeding.

But at the same time, I wish it was the Celtics that were grabbing the headlines right now instead of the Bruins.

Kinda depressing. :-[

Nope, happy for them.  And if only the hockey that is played in the playoffs were played the whole year I could really get into it.
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

I would gladly trade a Celtics ring for a Bruins one.  Those fans have been waiting long enough and the Celts have tons of banners. They share the same home so you still get to see a banner when you get there

Not in the least and quite honestly I find it strange that any Celtic fan would feel kinda jealous over the fact that a Bruins team has a chance to win it all when the C's were eliminated.

Heck, I have seen Rondo giving the Bruins well wishes on Facebook. My guess is most of the other Celtics and the Celtic organization as a whole is cheering the Bruins on and sending their support the Bruins way, the same way the Patriots and Red Sox and Bruins did when the Celtics were making their push for title 17.

I'm psyched.  For me, having the Bruins left to root for has taken some of the sting out of losing in the second round.  I think there are enough fans and enough media attention to support all four of the Boston-area franchises, so the more success the better.

No.

Hockey is so irrelevent, anyone winning couldn't actually bother me

I believe statements like this and the one before are bad sports karma. And I don't even believe in karma.  There. I said it.

I wouldn't go that far but am happy for them otherwise.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Not in the slightest.

As long as somebody wins a championship in Boston.

This. The Celtics' loss hurts less. My favorite sport is basketball, but I'm a big hockey and baseball fan as well. Super pumped about it.

I've have no qualms at all.

Not one bit.  The only major Boston team that hasn't won a championship in my lifetime.  I wanna see that Stanley Cup being raised by Chara in the worst way.  Year after year, we've seen other raise it.  I'm tired of that.

Nope.

They've watched the rest of Boston win titles while they've were pretty much either sucking or choking.  They've done of a heck of a job and are a very likable team.
Yup

They play in the PAC 10, right?

I really don't care about hockey and I am not a fan of the Bruins, but I wish all the Bruins fans on Celticsblog the best during the Stanley Cup Finals.
