Yes this is disheartening right now, but anyone who believes this is series is over need not watch and should not feel compelled to post.  Even if it turns out you are right, you will not get any credit.

don't think they are looking for credit...just think a lot of us see the writing on the wall. they have be overmatched in both games. just because they return to boston doesn't really mean much

I think the CB forums would be better off if they were put on lockdown every time there's a loss

The torch has been passed I knew it'd happen eventually but didn't think this year Miami is the best team in the EC and will represent the East

agreed. it will be miami and LA...miami will win

Who are you tell people whether they should or shouldn't post?? Some of you really need to get over yourselves. People are allowed to be frustrated and if they want to express it, so be it.

I didn't tell anyone not to post.  Feel free to distort what I posted.  Apparently you are free to do that too.

What makes me happy though, is that when our Big Three got together and won the title, people respected us. If the Heat win the title this year, everyone will still call them cowards, and they still will have no one's respect.

I can't believe this is how it ends. This is how the NB3 Celts will be remembered. I'm so sad right now. I really can't believe it. Right now, I'll be happy if we avoid the sweep. I don't know what else to say. We're through. Wow.

Go Thunder/Grizzlies/Mavericks...

Ainge is awful. BBD is awful. And you know what? Doc is pretty awful too. When you have a team that starts 4 all-stars it is simply INEXCUSABLE for you to have the 16th best offense in the league, and to lead the league in turnovers if I'm not mistaken.

I don't think this series is over yet though (I have huge hopes for Shaq)

Thanks to this team, they gave us four fantastic years. Now it's time to move on, trade expiring contracts and, if we need to, Rondo. Non one is untouchable here, not even Pierce.

Danny, you made a big mistake, now please, give us some future

perhaps it's me, but that block didn't look clean.  lots of body on that one--particularly the arm in KG's chest

If they fail to do it again 08 will be looked at as a fluke...which is exactly what I don't want.  A team of this caliber should have been able to win multiple championships.

Keys to Game 3

1. Change our defense: we MUST block out their rebounders (including Wade and Lebron). A high scholl team would do that better than the Celtics did in this game. Furthermore, KG needs to be more vocal.
2. Hard fouls: if Wade and Lebron want to fly over us, no problem, but we must make them pay!
3. NO KRISTIC PLEASE: I am 5-11 and pretty sure would defend better than him. We really NEED Shaq back.

Obviously finding a way to keep Ray going and Rondo making some shots would not hurt too...

I want to see a drastic difference in energy come Saturday. I expect the home crowd to help, and Shaq would be huge (literally and figuratively).

We need to win a game in Miami. It didn't HAVE to be one of the first two.

Let's go home and hold serve. Win Game 3 and we are only down 2-1, was anyone feeling so great after losing to Cleveland last year by 29 to go down 2-1 and lose HCA? We stormed back and won that series.

We now have to take this series with the old cliche of "one game at a time."

We are not fighting right now. And I've seen enough of this team to know we will not go down without a fight.

And once we punch them, they will stumble.

Doc is going to retire and everyone will be on the block next year. I thought the celts were going to be physical tonight?
