Bill Murray in Zombieland!

Best all time.

That was awesome.

I liked that.

Also, if we can chose from TV, I love Matt Leblanc in 'Episodes'.

If we're extending it to TV I'd have to throw in just about everyone who appeared on Gervais' 'Extras.' Haven't watched it in a while, but off the top of my head I'd say Orlando Bloom or Patrick Stewart would be my top. Also, Carl Weathers story arc on 'Arrested Development' was pretty hilarious.

Movies-wise I'd have to agree with Bill Murray.  I'll throw Billy Zane in 'Zoolander' into the ring also. He literally did nothing, but the line "Put a cork in it Zane" always slayed me.

This is easy. Alice Cooper in Wayne's World.

Game. Set. Match.
You have definitely set the bar very very high here. Probably a winner

Tom Hanks and Green Day play themselves in the Simpsons movie but it probably wasn't too memorable because I had to look it up.

In Sunset Blvd Buster Keaton, H. B. Warner, and Anna Q. Nilsson
played themselves as "the wax dummies" and very famous director Cecil B DeMille played himself. It was uncomfortable because the directors didn't really like each other lots. He did a good job.

Maybe not best , but noteable

legendary football coach Amos Alonzo Stagg played himself in Knute Rockne All-American. It was probably the court room scene and he probably didn't say much

I can tell you the worst of all time without a doubt in my mind.

Julia Roberts in that crappy Ocean's 11 sequel.
she wasn't playing herself.

No, there's scene where she plays herself.

Yeah I think that was Ocean's 13.  How awful was that?
do it

Willie Nelson in Half Baked is a good one. Not sure if he is playing himself.

Snoop has a good one in half baked too

Lance Armstrong in Dodgeball was good at the time

Also Stan Lee in Spiderman 3 saying "I guess one man can make a difference after all" was probably pretty good

Marcel Marceau in silent movie? Was he actually playing himself? Brief, but funny.

Ya, Radcliffe was fantastic as well. Definitely thought about throwing his name out there as well. I loved Bloom describing how disgusted Keira Knightly was when she found out how she'd have to kiss Johnny Depp, and then the female lead asking "Why do you keep talking about Johnny Depp?"

That show wasn't elite, but it's definitely a little overlooked as far as great comedies go. Literally, every single cameo was fantastic.

Yeah see, I like Ricky Gervais's comedy, but his shows...I don't like his acting, or his friends' (his manager in Extras mostly) acting.

When they had a cameo they nailed it 100% of the time..otherwise, meh.
