It's funny how when posters see Crawford and Salvatore, they automatically come to the conclusion that David Stern wants the Celtics to lose. Why can't we think that those refs are meant to screw with the Knicks? ::)

because the C's are the clear favorites to win this one anyway, we don't need any help from the refs to win a game 2 against the Knicks... :P

And he did finish...

See game seven on last years finals. I will be shocked if we are plus in the ft's tonight.

We need to play through it. Suck that this is the state of the NBA.
Still don't believe in Joe.

TP FL!

Official Report
Bennett Salvatore

Another of Salvatore's controversial calls was in the 2008 conference finals when he waved off a contested 3-pointer that Pierce had hoisted over Richard Hamilton, inducing him to leave his feet with a ball fake and land on Pierce's back. Pierce, however, was charged with an offensive foul for creating the contact with Hamilton.

Ugh, that was him? That call was beyond terrible, I sill get angry thinking about it.

But we should win this game with or without the refs help, so GO CELTICS!

Seems pretty unlikely at this point:

Quote
BOSTON -- Mike D'Antoni downgraded Chauncey Billups' availability from "very questionable" on Monday to "very doubtful . . . almost out" at this morning's shoot-around before Game 2 against the Celtics at TD Garden.

Billups was not on the court for shoot-around (he was getting treatment on his left knee strain), but according to D'Antoni there is some optimism that the veteran point guard may return for Game 3, which is Friday at Madison Square Garden. The extra day in the schedule certainly helps.

"I think it's possible," D'Antoni said. "He says he feels a lot better today than he did yesterday."

Anyone know where I can stream the game online?  I'll be on a plane with wifi.  I know games on espn are sometimes streAmed and jf it were a NBA league pass game I'd be all set, but I have no idea with TNT games ...

I bet you are right but it will be about the same situation we have with Shaq. A 'will he or won't he' every game of the series so that Doc and the coaches have to work up two game plans.

Man, I am pumped for this game. I think we'll see a total team effort and huge games from Rajon, JG and Pierce.

You can watch the Garden filling up and some players shooting on the court while waiting for the game to start, here : http://www.nba.com/live20/index.html

JO has made about 98% of his midrange shots so far but Delonte is struggling.

Gotta get JO involved early again tonight.  He's really a huge key.  If he can do what he did last game and add a few rebounds, he can potentially be the best center we've had of the Big Three Era.

I'm looking for a monster game from Paul Pierce and KG offense wise tonight.  They were just so-so in the win with "O". I also expect that slacker KRSTIC to step up more and hit a few buckets , since he seems to be totally worthless on "D" .

To me the Key is ...AS usual , if Rondo and West are only passing and play making all night , the C's are a load . RONDO needs to stay under control.

So , it starts with our Point guards . If they execute the plays and ball well we win.

The big three really thrive on GOOD GUARD PLAY .

Hopefully JO still feels good and willhelp contain Mello & Amaire in the paint .
