Where do the Celtics stay in Miami? / Celtics late night habits

Hey I'm down in south beach for the big game tomorrow and was wondering if anybody knew where the Celtics stay when they're down here?

Also, an interesting note.... I was on the beach all day in South Beach and an advertising plane kept flying over with an ad that said Shaq would be at a club called "Cameo" tonight.... very interesting considering he's not playing tomorrow and supposedly wasn't on the team flight today to Miami...

Not sure where the whole team is staying, but one of our guys may be visiting the Fountainbleau to commiserate with a certain, recently abused parking  valet to compare notes on a famous (infamous) NBA mom.

Waaaaayy back in 1991 when I saw the Celtics play in Miami, I followed their bus back to the Mariott after the game and got pictures and autographs from all the players (Bird, McHale, Parish, DJ, etc)  But that was long, long ago.  But it's still one of my most treasured memories.

Waaaaayy back in 1991 when I saw the Celtics play in Miami, I followed their bus back to the Mariott after the game and got pictures and autographs from all the players (Bird, McHale, Parish, DJ, etc)  But that was long, long ago.  But it's still one of my most treasured memories.

Someone's pulling the wool over someone.  The team says Shaq stayed in Boston.  But yet he is appearing in a nightclub there?  I call foul.

For what it's worth, I called CAMEO. They confirmed that Shaq will infact be there.

Their number is (305) 531-5535...you will have to go through like 2 "To blah blah blah, press <number>", but you can call a receptionist to see yourself.

I'd feel much better if he was back in Boston rehabbing and getting ready to play instead of out clubbing in Miami.

That could very well be the reason he didn't travel with the team yesterday.  There's no reason he couldn't be flying out tonight or in the morning to be with the team for the game.

Good point. I've been wrestling with how to explain this in a non-negative way, and there it is. It would explain why he didn't travel with the team, but also it would explain why he had a nightclub promotion tonight..maybe he was undergoing further treatment, then flew in for the game (and the promotion tonight). I like that theory better.
