Vince Young signs a one year deal with the Eagles.
Very interesting.
I think the Eagles have done really well so far this offseason (they  just need to pay Desean Jackson).

... and they just got Nnamdi Asomugha.  5 years, $60 million.  $25 million guaranteed.

That's a pretty reasonable deal for somebody of his caliber.

Yeah, they've done incredibly well.  They've arguably got the best group of CBs in the league, a quality backup QB, and an extra 2nd round pick from a team that will do poorly this upcoming season.

The Eagles have made some amazing moves and amassed a huge amount of talent this off-season ... they will definitely be one of the teams to beat this year. Washington is also looking very good, while the Cowboys, via their releases to get below the cap, may have one of the worst seasons they've ever had, (grins to himself). I like how the Pats are shaping up, too, and I don't think they're through making moves ... some very interesting Free Agents have become available over the last few days.

I like how the Eagles are shaping up.  The one downside is that my Patriots face the Eagles in Philly on a short week late in the season.

I think the Pats are just about done.  Not that they've addressed all their needs, but I just don't think they'll have much room left to sign FAs after resigning Matt Light, and signing the 3 remaining rookies....

Andy Dalton is finally having a good game.
Cincy fans must be breathing a sigh of relief, but its going to be a long year.

Newton, on the other hand, not such a good game .... let's just say its going to be a long year for Carolina fans as well.

I'm a Pats fan, but am curious about people's thoughts on this:
Will Houston be a playoff team this year?
They look the part with their offense and revamped defense (including players back from injury last year).

My predictions for playoff teams:

AFC: Patriots, Chargers, Ravens, Texans, Steelers, Jets

NFC: Packers, Falcons, Eagles, Rams, Saints, Lions (yes, you read that right)

Sure hope not and that they resolve that stadium situation.

Much rather see a team with a heckuva lot less history (cough, Jacksonville, cough) relocate than a team with a storied background like the Vikings.

I'm sure we haven't seen the end of him.  I'm thinking Canadian FL followed by AFL. Followed by QB coach at Southern Miss where he'll be like "Just throw it to the open guy and try to create stuff. That's all ya need".

Green Bay looks sick on offense.

Oh and we don't want Mr junktexter in the CFL.
