so do they bring him in as the reserve PG?
He will never start if rondo is on our team...
He seems good enough to slot in as a starting PG on a lottery team to me.
Can't see it happening.

he's 6'5 , once his body fills out he will be a SG

He could still grow--in theory we all are capable of growing until we're 26. That definitely isn't me. I'm right between Gary Coleman and Webster.

That said, I read the nbadraft.net scouting report on him and his NBA comparison is..stephen curry?? I wasn't aware that he was even as close to being as athletic as Austin appears to be??

Well it's really a man against boys in those videos.  But once he goes to the college and then pro ranks, the competition is going to get a lot bigger and better.

I'm sure Steph and most above average pros destroyed their high school competition.

When I graduated high school at the age of 18 I was 5'10...maybe and thats bein generous...by the time I was 19 I was 6'4.... so austin could grow another inch or two, ya never know.

  • Rondo = Good
We won't get our hands on him.  He'll be a top 10 pick for sure unless he really bombs at Duke, and (hopefully), we're not going to have a top 10 pick for a while.

I look forward to rooting for whichever team he ends up on (hopefully a team out West).

Hey, maybe he can pull a Kobe and dictate where he ends up. He would look mighty good in Green and playing for Dad!

We probably wouldn't have to worry about Doc resigning/stepping down anytime soon if the Celtics somehow landed his kid...probably a pipe-dream, though.

Would Doc want to coach his kid though? Does he want to be involved in any way or form in a manner that might destroy his dreams?

I wouldn't be surprised if Doc retires when Austin enters the league.

reminds me of derrick rose...

Wow he really does. Even his jumpshot and the hop.

The potential is definitely there, it's obvious.
Hope to see you in Green in a few yrs.

His jumpshot's already better than Rose's.

It should be like little league - the coaches kid is always on his team.  It's only fair!   ;D

Why not coach your son. You know the front office isn't going to screw him over. I'm sure Doc wants to protect his son. What if he ends up gettin drafted by a team with Spo coachin or something. Doc could make sure his son was coached right.

wow, i had no idea he was that big (doesn't look that big in the vids?) i was going to wiki how tall he was but looked at the video and thought to myself 'he cant be taller than 6 foot 3.'
Changes everything then. Bring him in for a year or 2 under ray and let him flyyyyyy.
