Gotta agree with Tommy, this Richardson, (official) is an idiot ... some absurd calls and no-calls, and why does he let Vujacic do what Perk got a "T" for?!? Mui estupido.

Great defense by Perk, in this (4th) quarter especially ... and Paul is doing whatever he wants. Love it!

Three ugly quarters, one good one ... thankfully it was the 4th quarter. We finally decided to play some defense and attack the basket, and New Jersey went over six minutes without a basket! Nate didn't score much in this one, but he really helped to change the momentum in this game, and Pierce was superb. We'll take the win ... and remain first in the East going into the All-Star break. Considering all the injuries, that is an amazing position to be in at this point ... truly amazing. Go Celtics!

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I forget, who did the Lakers get for Farmar and Vujacic?

Quote
Los Angeles Lakers guard Sasha Vujacic has been acquired by the New Jersey Nets in a three-team trade that sent Nets guard-forward Terrence Williams to the Houston Rockets, the NBA teams said on Wednesday.

The Nets also received first round draft picks from the Lakers (2011) and Rockets (2012), New Jersey said on its website (www.nba.com/nets).

Los Angeles obtained forward Joe Smith and two second-round draft picks from the Nets and gained the draft rights to Ukrainian Sergei Lishouk from the Rockets.
