Definately were issues with the mic volume, but that wasn't on the Peas.  Fergie was way to screechy, but I actually didn't mind the overall performance.  A better sound guy would have helped immmensely.

Not to get off topic but this is part of the problem with the complaints on the internet and in this thread about SB haltime...everyone wants what "they" like on the show.

Paul McCartney is one of the greatest artist's in the history of mankind and his halftime show was boring to watch as paint drying.

I don't remember if it was a superbowl..but there was one in detroit and they did a "Motown" theme.

I think a "Country" theme with current stars singing classic country/early country rock songs would've been awesome.

They always have local artist stars participate in some function...but they still go out of left field with the halftime show.  Detroit had that "motown" theme for certain parts of that SB but the Rolling Bones was the halftime show.

Well I know Keith Urban performed before the game.  I think they just didnt want to be too sothern or something.  But when you think about it, more people in the US listen to country than any other type of music, so it would appeal to the widest audience.

Agreed.  They will probably be your halftime show next year.  Not sure why they didn't.  I would have thought them doing the halftime show would have been great for people to watch the show after the game.
