Anyone been watching this series?  It's 3 episodes in.  I've always liked William H. Macy and I'm curious to see where he goes with this character (though I must say it seems to be softening already).  There's an excellent small part for Joan Cusack as well.

I got Showtime to catch up on Dexter (which I did), but so far I'm ok with "Shameless".  Will keep watching.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Redz, Shameless is an American incarnation of a British show by the same name.

I've never been one of those "the British version is always better" guys, and in fact I don't really like the British version of the Office.

But I'm 2 epis in on the American show, and so far it fails to replicate the certain "feel" of the British one. I ripped through the British first season in like 3 days.

The wife and I really like Shameless and Episodes is pretty funny as well.

HBO is still the king of great television, but Showtime is upping its ante.

LAst weeks episode definitely had the most laughs in it so far.  I like the development of the clean cut cop and his partner.

I actually prefer Showtime right now with Dexter, Californication, Shameless and Episodes.

All my favorite HBO shows ended years ago.

Truly awesome performance by Joan Cusack on this week's episode.  The arrival of Frank's mom was a great addition to the show too.

Might have been my favorite episode so far.

I really like this show a lot.  Season finale was tonight.  Very solid season overall.  I'm already looking forward to next season.
