Crazy good performance.

Also, how can the Hawks lose by 41 at home?! Pathetic.

CSNNE.com caught up with Shaq after the game. On his right leg injury "It just locked up on me," he said. "I'll be alright."

That's good news.

I'm not concerned about Nate. He's in a funk, but he'll be fine. I'm glad he's here.

He was 3-6 this game. Not bad at all. Tomorrow's another day.

TP for this.

KG called rondo "Dodo" in the press conference. Looks like he's had a nickname all along haha   ;D

Agreed.

We as a fan-base in general have become spoiled by our abundance of talent in the starting rotation.  Essentially, we want our subs to be as good as our starting lineup, which consists of 4 first ballot Hall of Famers and Rajon Rondo.

Is Nate Robinson perfect?  Absolutely not.  Can he distribute like Rondo?  Of course not, but nearly every point guard in the league would do a less effective job of running our offense than Rondo does.

Moreover, it's not exactly like vets like Billups and Nash are going to leap at the opportunity to backup Rondo for less than 10 mpg in the playoffs.

Nate is what he is, a flawed player.  However, he can light it up and be a game changer, which is more than most backup PGs can say in this league.

Finally, let's drop the House comparisons.  House had the advantage of playing behind an unrefined Rondo.  There were MANY games in the 2008 playoffs that Doc would finish with a lineup of House, Allen, Pierce, Posey, and Garnett.

Doc wouldn't dream of that now.  And that's not because of Nate, that's because Rondo is twice the player he was 3 years ago.

Hayward needs to spend more time on the beach.
“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

(Watching the replay now) ... great interior defense by Big Baby ... and Ray and KG on fire! Ray, KG and Paul all look like 28-year-olds this year ... and I think that has urged Shaq on to his renaissance as well. It's really a joy to see these guys playing and moving so well!

Really a ton of great stuff going on tonight ... and I love Glen's consistency in producing almost as many nice numbers, (on average), off the bench, as he does starting ... Semih with a great game as well.

Really sweet win ... great ball-movement, scoring distribution, defense, and bench contributions I hope this gets us in a nice momentum for the road game, (then one at home), and the West Coast road-trip ... while it looks like we'll be without Shaq, it would be nice to come home with a couple of more wins, (and still a single-figure loss column number). Go Celtics!

Great win! The game was over in the 1st quarter, the Jazz defense was atrocious and we made them pay immediately.

Only positives from this game, though I Hope Shaq is alright.
