We went to a fabulous Judy Collins concert last night.  I have been a fan since the 60s.  She is still beautiful and, at age 71, her voice has not lost one iota of range or clarity.  (No, she did not sing "Thirsty Boots"  ;D , but she did sing some of her old hits, including "Someday Soon", Joan Baez' "Diamonds and Rust" (which is on her last CD as a duet with Joan) and  Carole King's "Both Sides Now"...along with newer songs and some Christmas music.  In her younger days, she had studied to be a concert pianist and she draws on that in her composition and uses the piano as well as the guitar in  concert.

Kenny White, a musical humorist, was the warm up act and he was actually very funny...in sort of a New York musical nerd sort of way.

It was a terrific evening.
