Wafer looks completely useless when his shot isn't falling.

I think he's shown some talent driving the ball, too.

He's purely a scorer, though.  He seems like a black hole, and isn't very good defensively.

Yes, that's what I meant. whether it's jump shots or driving, it's all about getting his shot. He's not simply mediocre when it comes to rebounding or keeping the ball moving, he's downright atrocious.

But again, I don't see why we should expect better for someone who is, at best, the 13th man in the rotation.

Eh, he's ok at moving the ball, but I agree about his rebounding.  His ability to shoot quickly off screens really does bode well for his chances of making the team though.  Our offense really benefits from the defensive attention paid to a mobile shooter and Wafer's the only guy on the roster other than Ray who can do that.

Donny Marshall wants Lasme.  That means I definitely want Wafer. ;)

Just saw the game on the free League Pass (great quality, awesome to finally be able to watch games on full screen in HD), it was fun and entertaining, especially after the putrid first half. Ray getting hot (and on the scoreboard) in the 3rd was a nice sighting, he just couldn't miss! And then the rest of the team took care of business. I really love the togetherness of the team and every player's will to share the ball. Can't wait for the Miami game now!
