Game Notes
The Celtics are playing their 4th game in 5 nights and they are playing the Knicks for the 2nd time within 4 days.   The Celtics are also playing in the 2nd of back to back games.   They also only have one more preseason game after this one before the real games start.

Mike D'Antoni is talking about keeping Amar'e Stoudamire out of this game.  Doc may sit his veterans or he may want to start getting into a regular rotation in preparation of the season starting.  Paul Pierce and Shaq sat out last night's game but both are expected to play in this one.  Doc may sit a couple of the veterans who played last night, or he may want to start getting into a regular rotation in preparation of the season starting.

The Celtics pulled out an improbable win at the end of the last game between these two teams with much of the team sitting out because of fouls, injuries or ejections.   The Knicks may feel as though they deserved to win that game and will surely want to get some measure of revenge.

Will both Lasme and Wafer see minutes?  I hope they both see plenty of time, so that we can get another read on their chances.

I'M THE SILVERBACK GORILLA IN THIS MOTHER——— AND DON'T NONE OF YA'LL EVER FORGET IT!@ 34 minutes

Marquis Daniels out tonight with a sore shoulder after that hard pick vs Raptors; Jermaine O'Neal game-time decision with sore hand.  Doc also says starters won't play big minutes.

Doc says he wants C's to get back to being an inside-out, post-up team. Says they got away from it last season b/c of injuries.

So who backs up Pierce?  Wafer?  Lasme?  Ray?

If I had to guess, I would think Lasme would get the majority of the minutes behind Pierce.  Delonte is probably gonna be out tonight, so Wafer will probably see a lot of minutes behind Ray.

It will definetly be interesting to see who, plays better, therfore proving their worth as a better fit for that 15th spot.

Rajon with the Larry Bird rebound mid-air tip pass.

the other night he did the Isiah Thomas, with the ALMOST assist from the knees.

Gallinari continues his acting job out there. I hope the refs start assessing him techs for his flopping. He is one of the worst offenders when it comes to selling the refs. Truly annoying.
