Just read that Larry Siegfried has passed away.  I remember Larry from when I first started following the Celtics in Bill Russell's last year.  I remember I had his card which is available on ebay:

I also remember him getting in a fight with Wali Jones of the Sixers.  Anyone else remember Larry?

Sad~

one of my favorites -  an extreme, extreme hustle player--great story a friend once went to a camp where Larry, during his pro years was working --my friend recounted that Larry never let down--diving for loose balls on the black top in a camp scrimmage!
Days up and down they come, like rain on a conga drum, forget most, remember some, don't turn none away.   Townes Van Zandt

I remember number 20  very well, played for Celtics in the 60's, great guard off the bench. Team-mate of John John at Ohio State. Will miss him. Thanks for posting.

Looks like Larry wasn't too thrilled with the NBA of today.  I understand what he's saying but it doesn't come across really well.  I disagree with his view of these Celtics.

Check out who is in the picture, future teammate Don Nelson.

They have quite the coach up there to look over the games.
