any other Jimmy EW fans out there?

I'm trying to decide if I like this latest album.  I'm a huge fan of the band and can listen to most of their albums cover to cover with great satisfaction.  So of course I bought the most recent one without hearing a single song.

I think I'm settling in on "its ok, kind of up and down - I was expecting more"

Good:
My Best Theory
Evidence - I like the wall of sound this creates
Mix Tape
Littlething

Bad:
Higher Devotion - annoying melody

OK:
Movielike - kinda clumsy lyrics
Coffee and Cigarettes - really clumsy lyrics

other thoughts?
Faith and Sports - an essay by Jeff Clark

That's cool Jeff, the last album I bought was Futures. I just don't keep tabs on bands like I used to, I'll have to check it out on youtube.

In the meantime, my favorite JEW song:

Static Prevails was also one of my favorite albums in High School.

Bleed America was on absolute repeat when I was in high school. What a great album that was. Futures had some decent songs. I havent checked out anything since then, unfortunately they have kinda lost their luster for me. But at the same time hold a special place in my heart. Anytime I hear a song from Bleed America come across the radio I crank it up and rock out.
