Batman and Green Lantern, pretty much tied.  Those are about the only two D.C. guys that I like, though; Marvel has a much deeper roster.

Like I said, D.C. has my two favorite superheros.  After that, Marvel just has a lot more quality.  Spiderman, the X-men, the Fantastic Four, Ironman, Hulk, Captain America, Daredevil, Silver Surfer, Punisher ...  Just lots of really cool heroes.  The villains are better, too, topped by Carnage and Doctor Doom (although Batman has good villains, as well.)

I think Super Man is a boring comic, and the rest of the D.C. roster (after Batman and Green Lantern) is pretty lame.  I mean, when Aquaman and Green Arrow probably make the top-ten for coolest D.C. superheroes, that's all you need to know.

DC currently is doing more interesting things with it's rosters. Marvel has been kind of a cluster boink ever since Civil War. On the other hand, they're doing interesting things with the X-Men for the first time in a decade.

Also, two dork notes:

1) Daredevil is one word. As is "Manhunter" in The Martian Manhunter.

2) Which Captain Marvel? Is it's DC's (formerly Fawcett's) who gets his powers by saying the magic word "Shazaam" or are you referring to Marvels Mar-Vell, the Kree champion who defended earth before succumbing to cancer? I'm assuming you're not referring to Marvel's second Captain Marvel because she's pretty lame.

Easy, Spiderman for me.  The only DC character that has ever held my interest was Batman.  On the other hand, Marvel's character lineup has always been intriguing to me, DC I find boring.

probably Batman, The Green Lantern, Wolverine...meh, I'm more of a fan of the evil villian sometimes - whether it's The Joker, Two-Face, the Riddler or Mr. Freeze from the Batman series, The Dark Lord Sauron and the Witch King of Angmar from Lord of the Rings, Jabba the Hut, Darth Vader, Sebulba, Darth Sidious, Boba Fett, etc. from Star Wars. Even some of the fantastical villians from Japanese Anime and children's cartoons...
