A new version of NBA Jam is coming out for the Wii this fall, and will be available on the 360 and PS3 for those who buy NBA Elite (formerly, NBA Live).

The Eastern rosters were revealed today, and the Celts have by far the best one:

Quote
Boston Celtics
Players: Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo and Ray Allen
Legends: Larry Bird and Kevin McHale

Sweet!  Of course, I'm not expecting much from NBA Elite, and I don't own a Wii, but I'm hoping to get to play this somehow.

Toronto has to be the worst in the East, right?

I'm awfully tempted to buy Elite 11 just to get Jam for free. I can't wait for that game. I've been playing some old school NBA SHowtime (I think it is) at the arcade (Yes, we still have one =D) in preparation for the new Jam.

You can see me on XBL owning noobs next month.

It's too bad they stripped down the PS3/360 versions. The online is nice, but having to buy NBA Elite for is a bit much. Although the full version on the Wii doesn't have online play, so it makes the decision between the two a lot harder.
