They kept BJGE wasn't completely sure if they would.

I am not really surprised by that, given the fragileness of most of their other RB's.  I am surprised that they kept Slater though.  He must be great on special teams to earn that spot, since he doesn't really do anything else. 

On a side note, does anyone know what is going on with Cunningham?  He didn't play all preseason, and I don't think I heard anything about an injury.  Is he just not ready, or has he been dealing with injuries?

Injuries.  And apparently still not 100%.  Won't play against Bengals this weekend.
