So, uh, this review might excite you guys:

Quote
The fact that 2K Sports did so much more with this game and improved it so greatly over last year's title is stunning. This isn't just the best basketball game ever; it's the best sports game of this generation.

One more

"This is one of the most incredible year-over-year improvements of a game imaginable"

I just read the review. My heart is beating like I'm 12 again and I just found out I got that mountain bike I wanted for my birthday.

Wow...I might call in "sick" tomorrow. I'm legitimately excited to play the Jordan challenges, and I don't care for Jordan at all.

hah! I'd already decided to switch to 2k based on the demos (even though the team who released the 2k demo should be taken outside and shot!) . . . But now this!

Saw the ign review too .. Really looking forward to it now too . -

Who mentioned sick days .. Cough, cough ;D

Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

Ha, I took Friday off for it. Was planning on waiting until then, but I don't think I'll be able to now.

NBA Elite (Live) are for kids and casual gamers..
NBA 2K are for those who really play & love basketball.

Getting it @ Gamestop during lunch break.  Will be playing it once I get home @ 5:30 until 1am.

I will be really getting in to that My Player thing this year too.  SO if anyone wants to run the My player games on a regular basis let me know.  I am on XBL and my GT is same as it shows on these boards.

i'm swamped right now, so i might be able to buy it/play it sometime next week or 2 weeks from now (sucks right?!) but i'd appreciate it if someone here could post their thoughts/experiences/short review of 2k11. yeah, i read IGN's review and it sounds so awesome! but y'know, i wanna hear what people here think too.

btw, how improved is MyPlayer really? coz the IGN review said that it needed a significant amount of work but the video clips and stuff look amazing.
