Celtics send out Sheed's contract, Ollie Layfayette, Gaffney and a first
Then get back Shane Battier from HOU

Portland gets a first rounder and the right to waive Ollie and Gaffney

then Rudy and Sheed go off to the Rockets.

Boston gets their hands on the P2 backup we desperately need.

I'm thinking Houston would like a back-up at the two spot, and clear a little room at their somewhat log-jammed small forward spot. They're really high on Buddinger (For good reason, he can ball) and then they have Trevor Ariza they need to get minutes too, as well. After Kevin Martin they don't have much at the two.

I'll admit it kind of looks like Portland is giving Rudy up for a pretty low cost, but they're probably going to get a decent pick out of it. I'm not sure if they'd go for it, but it's worth the phone call at least. Not sure anyone else is really going to bid too much more for Fernandez, imo.
