in my mind bobby simmons would be an absolute steal for the veterans minimum. He's been plagued by injurys the last couple of years and had the misfortune of playing on the nets which i think overshadowed his talents. He's the type of player that thrives on a winning team because of his toughness, he plays with heart, and is a legitament 3 point threat. Perfect fit for us. I know he hasn't done much since he got his big contract but playing on a winning team will most likely rejuvinate him.
I'd be psyched if we got him for the vets minimum because i think he's our best option for a wing at this point. If the Lakers got Barnes for the vets min then we can definantly lure simmons here.
