Special teams killing Virginia Tech?

Who would've ever thought that?

Touchdown Boise St!

Can VT answer in a minute and three seconds?

Two timeouts.  This kick return will dictate a lot.

One last play.

He missed a completely wide open WR on that one.

Taylor looked lost on that last drive.  You can't take a sack on 2nd down there.

Great win for Boise State.  They could very well run the table and waltz into the National Title Game.

Which sucks.

Great team, but they play in such a weak ass conference. NCAA on easy mode....

Yeah, hence why I was leaning towards V-Tech in this game.  The national title game ramifications.

They did look mighty impressive, though.

For one game, a lot of teams can look like world beaters for one game against a high caliber opponent.

What really separates great teams are how they can run the gauntlet of the whole season constantly tested. Boise has roughly 2.5 tough games all year.

I hope we have some undefeated major conference teams so they can't sneak in playing no one.

Boise State's remaining schedule.  Pretty pathetic on paper (right now at least).  Their margin for error is zilch.  So they will be playing with that added pressure on their shoulders.

I am now officially a Boise St. fan.  My fiance went to school there, and I had no allegiance to any other school (I went to Northeastern, and have the general disdain most NEU graduates have for BC), so I have been considering adopting them as my team for the last few years, but last night they officially hooked me.  The fact that every single game is do or die makes it incredibly compelling (which is necessary for a casual fan like myself), and last night was just sports at its best.
