Ok - this Jimmer Fredette kid. I was holding out judgement on him, but I think he is a NBA player, for real.

He was guarded really well on some of his shots, and still hit them.

I agree.  Like I said in another thread, he converted me tonight.  I didn't think he could get his shot off against bigger, more athletic players, but he proved tonight that he can do that.  Very quick release.

Should be a fun night.  Really looking forward to the Duke UNC game.

whats the deal with ESPN covering seemingly ALL of Purdue's games?  I typically watch a couple of CBB games a week, and 1 always ends up being a Purdue game.

that team is going to make some serious noice in the tourney between Johnson/Moore.  I also like Illinois a lot - they've been underachieving for a few years but they have the vets to really give someone hell next month.

It's too bad they don't have Robbie Hummell... Again.

I WANT HARRISON BARNES AND JARED SULLINGER. BOTH OF THEM.
You can just call me WaveOcean, or Wave for short. I was not thinking straight when I chose my screenname.

I grew up in upstate NY and Syracuse is the closest thing to a major league team up there - I've been a Cuse fan since kindergarten or so.

I used to hate Carolina but I went to grad school there so now they're my second-favorite - Chapel Hill is the only place I've ever gotten to celebrate a title in person too.

hey fairweatherfan

you root for the sixers? That sounds better than "fair weather" to me.

No, not a Sixers fan (Iggy is one of my favorite non-Cs though).  I'm running the Sixers in the Pick 2 Draft thing that's been all over the Latest Topics for awhile.

You a Cavs guy?  Rough year for the fellas.

That's the understatement of the year, buddy boy. I've been watching basketball since I was in high school. Never have I seen such wretchedness, ineptitude, and submissive play.

Just two days after Ohio States loses it's top spot in the poll another number one bites the dust...

This time Kansas pretty handedly too.

Zeller reminds me of Hansbrough ... especially extra-effort-wise. BC making a run here at the end ... down to a five-point game.
