wow. The Penn State coach is leaving for Navy.  I find the whole thing weird.  He led that team to more success than it really ever had and PSU is his alma matter.

Just awful.
If Penn State wanted to keep him all they had to do was show him some love with a contract extension.  PSU did not and that is the price it paid.

I totally agree.  Maybe they don't actually want to have a good basketball team, which strikes me odd because I don't see the downside and their arena is phenomenal.

You'd think he would have approached them and said "I have an offer from Navy" and they'd be like "Code Red!  You are not leaving this office till you've signed an extension!"

But now they have to get a new coach during a rebuilding season. Just stupid
