I haven't managed to tune into this yet. Is it really that compelling?

It is emotionally charged and the performances are very well done.

It has a "Fargo" type feel with very very very little humor...

Trailer Park Boys anyone?
When I'm in the gym...I like to grunt when  I get my swell on... That way everyone can see how jacked and tan I am.

From a pure comedy standpoint - Parks & Recreation is funnier than the american version of the Office ever was.

Big Brother!  It will kinda suck joining mid-season when you don't know what's really going on, but it is the only show during summer I really watch faithfully

Coming out of semi-lurker status with the lockout to put my vote in for Game of Thrones, great first season.
