I thought it was about time we had a thread dedicated to appreciation of Mike Gorman and Tommy Heinsohn, their shameless "homerism", their endearing personalities and history with Boston and New England, their in-depth knowledge of basketball and all things green, and all they do to make the Celtics so much fun to watch, and their community a better place to live in.

Thanks for all you do!

Gormon isn't that blatant. If he has a different color guy with him, he actually doesn't sound like a homer at all. Getting excited about the home team getting a basket doesn't count as homerism in my book. That is expected from all home announcers. It is being blind to what actually happens during games and seeing what you want a la Tommy that counts as homerism. Gorman is a class act.

Another homer trait -- losing your composure while watching the game. Like when Tommy goes "oh boy" under his breath when the Celts do something dumb and then he is at a loss for words while he fumes.
