I know we've all seen this 100 times, but it's worth commemorating with its own thread.  What a shot!

So ill. But not as good as the 3 he hit at the buzzer a few years ago.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Just another buzzer beater game winner by Paul, and I hope of many more to come :)

I especially liked the looks on the faces of the Heat players. You know, like "Shaq was right. Paul Pierce is the (expletive) Truth. We played the best we could, our bench really produced, DWade was on fire for most of the game and P2 still found a way to beat us. Man, it sucks."
:)

TP for you, Roy. When I got up at 9 am (after less than 5 hours of sleep) I was still pumped about that shot. Still am, actually. I love Paul Pierce.

Gotta ask: who the hell is that random white guy jumping up and down with the rest of the Celtics during the celebration?  My brother and I were cracking up watching the replays...

On April 13, 2010, Tony Gaffney signed a contract with the Boston Celtics for the rest of the regular season and playoffs, and a non-guaranteed contract for the 2010-2011 season.

I love buzzer beaters, especially when they are made by the Celtics, of course it's worth its own thread, I really can't get tired of watching it again and again! 8)

Here is an alternative version (HD and with Tommy and Mike's comments) :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLreDpiILtk

What cracks me up even more with buzzer beaters is the reaction of the winner's teammates just after the shot, or in the huddle. There are always some funny events (see Davis, Glen and the shoved kid last year) and their joy is just communicative.

Funny to see Gaffney being so pumped up while he has been with the team for like 10 days. Nate is going bonkers too, and I love the reaction of all the C's who where on the court with Pierce (Ray rushing to Paul, KG with his fist pump, Rondo and Finley celebrating but remaining "stoic").
