** For those who may be confused by how I list the results, this is how it's broken down: **

team abbreviation   -   player's name (picked for that game)   :   that player's 2012-2013 scoring average   /   that player's points total for that game   =   that day's net score above/below player's average   /   that day's net margin over/under competitor's net score   //   net gain/loss of all games played to that point (all net scores added together)   /   net margin over/under competitor's net gain/loss to that point (this is used as a tie-breaker)    (win/loss record to that point)

Example:

CHI  -  Michael Jordan :  30.5 / 42 =  +11.5 / +4.3  //  +2.7 / +6.3  (2/1)

Hope this helps!

** Please send me a PM if you notice any discrepancies or errors. Leaders are marked in red, ties are marked in purple - in case of a tie, the total points difference decides the winner. Missing your pick or a DNP will result in a zero score, or five points less than that of your opponent's, whichever is greater. **

I'll be kicking myself about this all off-season.  Down 2-1, I should have gone with Parsons.  That would have gotten me to 2-2.  Game 5, I would have gone with Garcia or Asik, and either one would have won it for me and put me up 3-2.  Even so, yesterday I still almost went with Asik and then I'd still be alive.  Bad decisions, bad decisions, bad decisions.  I think I need to fire my coach >:(

What can I say, the better man won.  TP Misha.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

I feel your pain BDM.  Kicking myself over the going with Copeland and Martin in my first 2 games as well.  These 2 were the types that usually give the C's fits --> athletic, active forwards that crash the offensive glass for easy buckets.  C's, though playing poorly, managed to stop these 2 from doing just that.  who'd have guessed?

anyway, hope to see you back here for next year's game.

** A big congrats and TP to our fifth Round One victor, Misha, for winning his series 4/1, +20.0 ... he moves on to the next round and the 2013 Quarter Finals! Also a sincere thank you to last year's champ, BDM860, for his participation and help this year ... hope you're with us again next fall, my friend, and stick with us for another run at the title!

TP Misha.
TP. Yeah, that decision was a game changer, but still a very close series that could have gone either way. Hopefully you will play more in the regular season so top seeds won't need to battle with such a good opponent in the first round  ;)
The Immortals:

Iker Casillas, Giacinto Facchetti, Alessandro Nesta, Matthias Sammer, Javier Zanetti, Lothar Matthäus (c), Xavi, Zico, Maradona, Roberto Baggio, Ferenc Puskas, Karl Heinz Rummenigge

an unusual amount of higher seeds advancing!

Let's hope that trend ends next round.

I'm pretty sure I've made it to the 2nd round and bowed out every season since we started this.
