Saw it last night.

Certainly not on the level of "The Hangover" but still pretty entertaining.  Rob Corddry's character kinda steals the show. Lots of funny lines and insanity coming from him.  Craig Robinson (from the Office) also has his moments.  If you love '80s music, it has a pretty solid soundtrack.  I also loved the cameo from Zabka (aka Billy from Karate Kid).

If you're a huge Cusack fan like I am, I think you'll be a bit disappointed with him in this flick.  He really didn't need to be in this film.  Someone else could've played his role.  Bit of a letdown.

What do others think?

I'm really looking forward to this movie... the trailer alone is hilarious.

As for Cusack, I could tell that this might not be a good fit for his brand of comedy, so I won't be disappointed in that regard. But we'll see.

I heard it is extremely funny...I plan on seeing it soon myself now as I was originally turned off by the title...
Carl: And, technically, he's supposed to be spayed, and uh, he ain't that. I know that first hand. Go ahead, ask me how I know. Go ahead. Ask me. Ask me how I know.

It's definitely not a cryptic message title.  ;)

not a big fan of these types of comedies.... the kind that play on the differences between past and present

you know "oh my god his cell phone is so big! lol!!" doesn't really do it for me.

however im sure there are still some funny parts worth watching, huge fan of the office so i'll probably see it due to that.

The New York Times of all places gave it a fairly positive review, http://movies.nytimes.com/2010/03/26/movies/26hottub.html?scp=1&sq=hot%20tub%20time%20machine&st=cse

I'll prolly check it at some point but may wait to Net Flix it.

Craig Williams is good in everything! I didn't particularly care for Pineapple Express (too much stoner, not enough humor) but loved Mr. Williams in it.
