Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't there some bug right now that doesn't allow you to play online or something? I've read Sony is telling people not to use their PS3's for 24 hours, because of some technical issues that may occur.

Can anyone confirm?

I *think* it only affects the older "thick" PS3s...

Anyway, I have a PS3, but don't really play online.  I've barely got time to make it through games in single-player...
