A couple of more to throw out;Stone Temple Pilots cover of "Dancing Days" by Led Zeppelin is another good one. Nirvana's cover of Bowie's "The Man Who Sold the World" is absolutely amazing.

Would be interested to hear it.If you like Soundgarden and Sabbath, Soundgarden's cover of "Into the Void" (with alternate lyrics) is tremendous. Kyuss also admirably covered "Into the Void".
