Very nice - I was just gonna suggest someone put this together.  TP for the effort.  I'll point out though that just at first glance, I have Eric Gordon and the C's have Jason Richardson as well.

  • No contaban con mi astucia !!!
just talking trash about my division opposing players

Quote
Feb 2 F Jason Thompson has gone from expecting double-doubles every time out to being lucky to have a single-double. The second-year big man had just four points and four rebounds in 19 minutes against Denver on Monday night. He has had a double-double in just three of the last 13 games. He has 16 for the season.

Lots of good teams, too many to list

If this was real life though the start the Lakers(oops Pigs), Cavs, Spurs, Magic  and Heat(oops again, Draft Dodgers) have over the rest of the league is pretty formidable but that's probably because of their two players kept on board

Definitely some teams that make you wonder too

Heck, now that I think of it what was I thinking, Randolph and Artest on the same team??

Thank god for good guys like Lawson and Ray Ray

These drafts are an excellent game. Want to do a historical one at some point.

That would be way cool! (TP) You'd really have to do it by specific year, though, or the lists would be endless ... and that way the games could go on for quite a while. Maybe assign or poll for a new year each month/week ... something like that. People would have to chip in on the busy-work, too ... wouldn't be fair to expect Roy to make this a regular thing. ;)

What a great way to get some of the younger crowd here familiar with the history of the game, and refresh the rest of us ... really awesome idea, RR.

Having already replaced Jermaine O'Neal, I certainly feel that I'm playing with house money. The next hardest player to replace on the roster will likely be Haslem, the team's back-up power forward.

It's also interesting to note which teams seemingly benefited most from their draft position relative to their 2009-10 roster and mid-season record (OKC, Memphis, Toronto...) and which teams were worst off (New Jersey, Detroit, Houston...).

Gotta say, I'd put my core up against most of these, especially offensively ... don't think there are many two-somes that put up the numbers that Melo and Chauncey do. But hey, we're all bias to some degree ... I'm feeling pretty good about my team to this point, (and my first foray into the fantasy thing) ... but then again, ignorance is bliss. ;)

If I could find a way to move Kaman for a center that could thrive in an uptempo offense, I'd like my team for the future.  It's a likely lottery team in the short-term, though.

Definitely, Denver has a great duo as well

Chauncey with the championship pedigree and Carmelo with the scoring

Very good core

I just think slightly behind the others I mentioned, much like the Celtics and a bunch of other teams

In many ways it is the benches that differentiate teams so we will have to see what the rest of this week and next bring
