You know what I don't understand, if you are convinced this team is absolutely no good, why not just lower expectations, go into 2005-07 Boston Celtic fan mode and look for all the positive things like Bradley's defense, Moore's play yesterday, Stiemsma's play during the first 5 games of his season, Rondo's play, or the fact we could end up with a high pick in a stacked draft.

You know....stuff like that.

As for me, expectations will start being lowered but if we can make the playoffs in a seed that is 6 or higher, anything is possible if they are healthy and ready to compete.

GO CELTICS!!!!!

That's what I've done.  If anything it makes the team more interesting to watch than if they had miraculously succeeded in a fifth year of "We are the champions" mode.

More small nuggets of potential longer-term victory to be unearthed, though no easy big, we're-one-of-the-best-teams-in-the-league finds.

To every thing there is a season.

We're 1 big away from a championship caliber team. 1 solid center. Not a good center, a solid one. If we'd gotten even 3/4 more rebounds yesterday, we would've been blowing out the Lakers.

In Ainge we trust!

TP.

The amazing thing is that despite the struggles and all, we are only 3.5 games behind PHI.

They are due for a slide before too long - every team will have one.

I think our slide is over. We may lose a game here or there, but barring any major injuries we will be steady for the remainder.

Go C's!

I got to watch a game live where we didn't lose!   ;D ;D ;D

It's been a while!

Lets keep it up!
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

  • Let them hate, as long as they fear
Ive been lucky. I havent watched a game that the Celtics lost.
And someday in the midst of time,
When they ask you if you knew me
Remember that you were a friend of mine

Milwaukee (ninth place) are 5.5 games behind us. We are going to have to be extremely unlucky and/or bad not to make the playoffs. Hope I didn't jinx us now... I could actually see us sneak up on some of the other teams (ATL, ORL) and maybe end up as fifth or sixth seed on the season. We'll see.
