I don't care if it's unrealistic, repetitive, over-the-top, etc.  I still love 24, and I'm psyched for the premiere tonight.  Jack Bauer is the man.

(In the interim, I'm watching Human Target, and 12 minutes in, I'm not all that enamored.)

Dang it...  I *hate* Kim Bauer, and the thought of her (and her young daughter) being featured heavily kind of makes my stomach turn.

Please, please don't let this be a big plot point this season.

It probably will be, ugh.

I've hated her since season two, so many dead and they can't just get rid of her somehow?

I don't know if I'll even bother to try and get into the season this year.

Last two years I've lost interest about 5 episodes in, just hasn't done it for me. Tonight hasn't changed my mind yet either.

I like Kim. Annoying, but nice to look at... the usual. I thought she was fine last year and so far she's done nothing for me to complain about.

Enjoyed the episode. Not the big bang opening that we usually have, but good so far. A lot of recognizable actors in here, and so far doing a pretty good job at it. I had my doubts about Prince Jr., but he looks like he might just fit right in.

The only thing I might be worried about at the moment is the Starbuck storyline... I don't think I care much for it.

Disappointed and I thought the acting was awful

I agree.  The new members of CTU pretty much all stink, due mostly to terrible acting.  Especially Hastings.

24 has kind of stunk this year.  As always, the show is cool when focused on Jack, and tends to be pretty lame when he's off-screen or in a supporting role.

How do you guys have time to watch 24 with the C's games during 24...

Then again  I watch my uri rams college basketball team and do also watch the Bruins and too unlike most people on this site and in general so maybe you guys do have that much more time to watch it.

Just caught up on tonight's episode via DVR.  So far, I've been   pretty ho-hum about this season.  I do like the switch to NYC and you can't go wrong bringing back Renee Walker in my eyes (  :o ).

Slow start but its still a show that pulls me in.  I'm sure it'll pick up.

Jeez, it's about time we had some action on this show.

Worst season thus far

Really really bad overall

I'm not sure I'm going to invest any more time in it, it really is that bad

I agree that it has been pretty bad.  However, I am still hooked.  Stupid cliff hangers.

Can't go wrong with an episode wrapped up in gunplay, torture, and a little bit of a plot twist.
