Are you kidding me? The turning point of this game was clearly when Joey Crawford awarded the Pacers 10 free points as a result of multiple mind-boggling calls. Technical foul on Perkins because he said "I went straight up"? Absolutely ridiculous. This is the same guy who held a grudge toward Tim Duncan of all people.

Joey told me that Tim is a JERK. That time Joey called a technical foul on Tim while he was on the bench? Tim said "I hope my kids have fun on Christmas". THAT'S JUST OBNOXIOUS. And Joey HATES christmas--he even tried to steal it once because his heart was 3 sizes too small.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

OK. Dwayne Wade is ridiculous.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Maybe the Nets starting 0-10 will force them to trade who they can.

If we can find minutes for Alston, I'll take him in a trade...but somehow, I feel like there's no room for him. : (

Oh me too. He's one of my favorite non-Celtics.
I was kinda rooting for the Nets to get their 1st win but I liked that finish by the Heat.

Nice dunk Timmy. :o
At least a nice highlight to make up for canceling my plans so my boyfriend can torment himself watching the Thunder run all over the Spurs.

Keys to the Game
Defense - first, foremost and always
Fatigue  - The Celtics must learn to overcome fatigue in back to back games and come out strong.  They looked tired against the Hawks, and that was on a day of rest.
Don't Die by the 3 -  When legs get tired, 3's don't fall and the Celtics have to recognize this and take the ball inside.  They were 1-14 against the Hawks.  When they don't fall, take it to the hoop.
Rebound  The Celtics allowed the Hawks to out-rebound them 47-29.  Rebounding is all about effort and desire and when a team is beat that badly on the boards, you know the effort just isn't there.

I'm going by the play-by-play tapes from www.nba.com. I did not watch or listen to this game. Indiana simply played well and were fresher than the Celtics and they shot about 75% it seemed from the 3:00 minute mark of the 3rd qtr on to the finish line. There is no way we should give up 110 points to this team. Pierce got it going too late. So factor one is an Failure. For Fatigue, this is mental fatigue instead of physical. The Celtics shot chart looked good, they were getting the ball inside to Garnett,  Perkins. Rondo got in the lane consistently. They clearly won the battle of the boards as they should against this team. Still not enough to get the job done. This is the second straight time we lost the 1st road game in Indiana this year. Again we played a home game on Friday night then hit the road for Indy. Disappointing.
Wins are few, times are hard. Here is your bleeping St Patricks Day Card.
