The Tourist starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp I have seen recently. The combination of action, thriller and comedy film directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck. One of the best movie in the year 2010. The success credit really goes to the stars of this movie.

Really enjoyed The Good, The Bad and The Weird.  South Korean Western.  I'm not sure if someone recommended it here a while back, but I just got around to seeing it.

"Serendipity" ... just happened upon it ... I guess you'd call it a "chick flick", but worth the watch for anyone who's even remotely romantic ... or anyone who feels this life is more than just chaos and happenstance.

:)

That's a really good movie.

Check out August Rush too if you like Serendipity.

Sin City. Haven't seen this film for a while, but still as good as I remembered. Hope there will be a sequel some day.

Now I just finished Gosford Park... Pretty good actually. I was hoping for more who dunit ness, but it was well cast, well directed, and extremely well written...

Can never beat Clue for best murder mystery ever however.

Just re-watched "GANDHI" decided I should from what just transpired in Egypt and inspired by Barefacedmonk's Gandhi quote.

Just a magnificent movie, huge, great acting, history, justice, freedom, wit and parallels in so many ways to current events in Egypt, and what Egypt faces in forming a new government.  Absolutely must be watched again and shared with older children.

TP...Mahatma Gandhi was a remarkable human being. Read his autobiography, The Story of my Experiments with Truth, if you get a chance. Excellent read...very meaningful and educational.
